There’s good news about a Seahawks player that needs a new deal, and it’s not QB Russell Wilson.
It’s linebacker Bobby Wagner, who has been reportedly talking to the team about a new deal, one that would not allow him to reach free agency after this season.
Wagner was the teams second-round pick in 2012, and has been one of the better defense players on a team that’s been stacked the last couple of seasons on defense.
Last season in 11 games he still went over 100 tackles (104) and two sacks.
Just reported on @NFLTotalAccess: the #Seahawks and Bobby Wagner have been working toward a new deal. Optimism it may be done before camp.
