The Seattle Seahawks schedule looks like that of a defending Super Bowl champion, as they have to take on the Cowboys, Giants, Packers, Broncos and Raiders on their own field. Pete Carroll and the ‘Hawks should be up to the challenge, however, as they haven’t lost many players over the course of the offseason and lost just one game at home a year ago.
As studly home defenders with the “12th Man” leading the charge, how Seattle fares at home really isn’t the question. Neither is how they fare on the road, really, either, as they lost just two games away from home last year, as well. The road gets tougher for defending Super Bowl champs, though, and the Seahawks will see it up close when they travel to Philadelphia, Washington, Carolina, Kansas City and San Diego.
Seattle does clearly get their toughest battles on their home field (Packers and Broncos), but still have to go win the games, while also worrying about a very tough and increasingly more competitive NFC West division.
