Seahawks raising ticket prices for the 2010 season

Pro Football reports that the Hawks are raising ticket prices for the 2010 season:

The Seattle Seahawks must think their fans are excited enough by the arrival of Pete Carroll not to cancel their season tickets, because they’re raising ticket prices following a 5-11 season.

Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times reports, citing information the Seahawks have sent to season-ticket holders, that the average increase is about 3 percent.

Prices for the most expensive club seats at Qwest Field will be unchanged, while some prices will go up by as much as $5 a game, or a total of $50 for the eight regular-season and two preseason games that come in a season-ticket package.

The Seahawks presumably won’t have trouble continuing to sell out their home games, as about 10,000 people are on the season-ticket waiting list.
