Seahawks Head to Miami for Final East Coast Trip

Seattle hits the road for its final east coast trip of the season, traveling to Miami for the first time since its season-opening visit in 2000. Kickoff is slated for 10 a.m. (PT) and the game will be televised on FOX (channel 13 in Seattle) and broadcast on News Talk 710 KIRO and 97.3 KIRO FM in Seattle.

This will be Seattle’ second AFC East opponent this season, dropping the season opener at Buffalo, 34-10, on September 7.

The Dolphins lead the regular season series by a 6-3 margin and have won two of the previous three meetings since 2000. Of the series’ 10 meetings, games have taken place in five different venues. The Seahawks and Dolphins played at the Orange Bowl (1977, 1979), Kingdome (1987, 1992), Dolphin Stadium (1990, 1996, 2000), Husky Stadium (2001) and Qwest Field (2004).
