The Hawks today trimmed their roster to get to the NFL limit of 75. Gone are cornerback Omare Lowe and receiver Joel Filani. Linebacker Will Herring was moved from active/PUP to reserve/PUP. And placed on injured reserve were tackle William Robinson and long-snapper Tyler Schmitt.

Today the Seahawks signed kicker Brandon Coutu to a multi-year deal according to Seahawks Insider. Coutu was drafted with the second of two seventh round picks (235th overall) out of Georgia in this year’s NFL Draft. The Seahawks now have three of their seven draft picks under contract.
