The Seahawks might be adding more beef to their defensive line, as Adam Schefter on Twitter reports the team is going to meet with Damon “Snacks” Harrison about joining the team.
Seattle isn’t the only team that has interest in Harrison, as the Packers, Bengals and Bears also have shown interest in the 31-year-old.
The meeting between Harrison and the Seahawks is slated to take place next week.
Last season Harrison was talking retirement, this after a career which saw him start with the Jets, then ink a big deal with the cross-town Giants.
Known as a run-stuffer, the Giants moved Harrison to the Detroit Lions. Harrison has the distinction of being the first defensive linemen ever to appear in 17 games in a single regular season.
You have to wonder how much gas or desire Harrison has left in the tank, but if he can be committed, he can add some needed depth to the Hawks defensive line.
