What Team is Set to Come Out of the NFC In 2020? There’s Plenty of Debate on it

Last season the Seahawks were one of the best teams in the NFC West, making it to the NFC Divisional Round of the playoffs before falling to the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau Field.

2020 is now upon us, and many think that with Russell Wilson playing at a MVP level there’s no reason that the Hawks can’t be right in the mix for a chance to be playing in the first week of February in the Super Bowl.

The NFC has a number of teams that can challenge for the conference title, as while the 49ers will again be a very good squad, by all means it’s not a given they are going to be shoe-ins as repeat champs.

Of course you have a number of teams that are going nowhere, with the Washington football team, the Detroit Lions (who according to Michigan Gambling Guide should win no more than 3-5 games), and the Carolina Panthers are three teams that are going to have issues challenging anyone in the NFC.

The Seahawks though should be a team that can do some damage, and if they can continue to progress on what they started last season, there’s no reason they can’t win between 9-12 games, which is going to be enough for a postseason spot.

One thing that would very much help the Seahawks is the ability to play a game or two at home, as last season going on the road seemed to be the Hawks undoing.

Playing at home, even with no fans (which still has to be determined), is still going to be a challenge for any team that has to travel to Seattle.

A couple teams come to mind that are going to challenge in the NFC in 2020, starting with the Philadelphia Eagles who won the NFC East with a mark of 9-7 a season ago.

The Dallas Cowboys are stacked on offense, and with Dak Prescott back after a big season in 2019, the Cowboys are the favorite to win the division, and should be a threat.

The Packers will be good again as well, and with Aaron Rodgers you can’t count them out. They are a team that can play with anyone, and the Seahawks and the rest of the NFC will have their work cut out for them.

Then there are the biggest rivals for the Hawks – that being the 49ers. They were up in the Super Bowl a season ago, only to fall late to the Kansas City Chiefs and lose a game many felt they would have won.

No matter how you look at it, the NFC in 2020 will be fun – it just depends on what team can play great down the stretch and play great in January.
