There is good news when it comes to Seahawks offensive lineman Duane Brown, as reports today state that he is expecting to be ready to go for the 2020 season.
The tackle says he’s 100 percent from bicep and knee injuries last season that that forced him to sit out five games and a playoff game.
“I didn’t get anything done to it,” Brown said via ProFootballTalk.com.
“It’s doing great. Been working out and haven’t really had any restrictions or limitations with it.
“Knee is doing great. Didn’t have any more work done. After the year (I) got it checked out and just got treatment done to it.
“And since then, just been working out, keeping it strong, moving around. Typical offseason for me at this point. Not nursing it too much so I’m doing pretty good.”
As one of the veteran offensive lineman on the Seahawks roster, it’s important that he is not only healthy but stays that way to help the team rush the ball and protect QB Russell Wilson.
Brown, who will enter his 13th NFL season in 2020, says he has not thought about retirement.
This is amazing news! It’s great to hear that Duane Brown is back and ready to play. This is huge for the Seahawks given that Brown is a valuable player for the team. From the looks of this Seahawks Outlook here https://prosportsoutlook.com/outlooks/?league=nfl&team=2492, Duane Brown is set to start so far. I’m hoping his previous injuries don’t get in the way this season.
