Seahawks CB Jeremy Lane was arrested for driving under the influence early Sunday morning according to Brady Henderson of ESPN.
Lane was booked at 5:30 AM on Sunday morning and released later that day. In addition to his legal troubles, this incident will likely earn him a suspension from the league. Seattle attempted to trade Lane to the Texans in October, but the deal fell through when the corner failed his physical.
Originally a sixth-round draft pick out of Northwestern State, the 27-year-old Lane has spent his entire six-year career with the Seahawks. There seem to be a lot of changes coming on both sides of the ball in Seattle this offseason and it would not be a shock to see Lane plying his trade in another city in 2018.
