Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham Not Likely to Re-Sign with Seattle

Tight end Jimmy Graham is “generally considered really unlikely” to re-sign with the Seahawks this offseason according to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.

The 31-year-old Graham is heading for free agency for the first time in his nine-year NFL career. He scored ten touchdowns as an imposing redzone threat for Seattle in 2017 but it has often seemed that the Seahawks coaching staff did not really know how to use Graham since acquiring him in a trade with the New Orleans Saints in 2015.

Graham and Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson are extremely good friends, which could help the team keep him-presuming they want to. At the very least, Graham is expected to test the market and a reunion with Drew Brees in New Orleans is not out of the question.
