Seahawks CB Richard Sherman To Have ‘Clean-Up’ on Ankle/Heel Area

While still recovering from a torn right Achilles’ tendon, Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman will undergo a “clean-up” procedure on his left “ankle/heel area” according to Brady Henderson of ESPN.

Sherman is believed to be dealing with bone spurs. The operation on his left leg has a 4-6 week recovery timetable but will the Achilles’ rehab Sherman may be questionable for the start of training camp in July. 2017 marked the first regular season games Sherman has ever missed in his seven years in the NFL. Turning 30 years old in March, Sherman has one year left on his contract with the Seahawks.
