There’s good news about a Seahawks player that needs a new deal, and it’s not QB Russell Wilson.

It’s linebacker Bobby Wagner, who has been reportedly talking to the team about a new deal, one that would not allow him to reach free agency after this season.

Wagner was the teams second-round pick in 2012, and has been one of the better defense players on a team that’s been stacked the last couple of seasons on defense.

Last season in 11 games he still went over 100 tackles (104) and two sacks.

The quest for three-straight Super Bowl appearances starts in Renton, Washington at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center for Seahawks training camp (30 minute drive from Seattle). Eager fans can use for Seattle flights, in addition to Seattle hotels starting from $128 for out of town fans creating a football destination vacation.
