Seahawks Keys To The Game
1. Establish A Run Game – The Seahawks can not give up on the run game. The number one rule to winning a Super Bowl is to stay who you are. Do not try to compete in the passing game. Marshawn Lynch is averaging 93.3 yards a game in the postseason and is one of the star players on the offense. Whatever the Seahawks do, keep Lynch involved.
2. Take Away The Easy Plays – Defensively, do not give Peyton Manning easy yards. Manning will already find yards without a problem so make him work to find anything. Plays across the middle must be limited or Wes Welker will eat the defense alive. Throw Manning different looks and keep the veteran on his toes.
3. Bring the Pressure – The defensive front of the Seattle Seahawks is extremely dangerous. They are quick and strong. The Seahawks must bring pressure so that the secondary is not hung up to dry. Defensive ends Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett along with linebackers Bobby Wagner and Bruce Irvin must supply pressure from different angles. This will be the defense’s biggest challenge to date.
