Marshawn Lynch Does Not Want To Attend Media Day

Marshawn

Well we knew Marshawn Lynch was not the biggest fan of the media, but does he not like it enough that he is willing to pay some major money? The Seahawks running back is really not feeling media day on Tuesday and the All-Pro is threatening that he may not even be at the stadium during the time the Seahawks are to answer all the media’s questions.

Lynch has some guts. The last person to opt out of a media opportunity during Super Bowl week was former New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora. He was later fined $20,000 by the National Football League. That number is projected to be much higher if Lynch skips out on something as big as Media Day.

Lynch has been one of the best running backs in the league since joining the Seattle Seahawks. Every season, Lynch has continued to impress and has led the offense averaging 93.3 yards a game in the postseason; placing Lynch in the top five of NFL history with the highest average in a minimum of five games in the postseason.

“If you’re forced to do something, it’s not as good as if you choose to do it,” Lynch said. “So no, I won’t have a lot of interesting things to say. When you’re forced to do something and you know it, it kind of just takes away from the whole experience of what it could be if (it were) natural. So, I’ll probably give forced answers.”
