Sherman Handed Fine By NFL

Richard-Sherman

Guess who? More Richard Sherman news has hit press. This time a fine that was handed to Sherman by the National Football League for unsportsmanlike behavior. Sherman must pay $7,875 for his actions after his game-winning pass deflection in last Sunday’s NFC Championship win against the San Francisco 49ers.

Need refreshed? Sherman’s actions were a choke sign he made after quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s interception with one minute remaining in the game. Following that, Sherman gave a memorable interview to FOX Sports reporter Erin Andrews saying that 49ers’ Michael Crabtree was a sorry receiver.

Since last Sunday, Sherman has apologized but has been criticized heavily along with being called names like “thug.” The Stanford graduate has never caused any problems off of the field but his on-field image has somehow landed him the name.

Nonetheless, is this more news to keep the Seahawks distracted when the biggest game of their lives is just over a week away?
