WR Harvin To Miss NFC Title Game With Effects From Concussion

Divisional Playoffs - New Orleans Saints v Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks will be minus wide out Percy Harvin will in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the 49ers.

Harvin will sit due to the effects from a concussion he suffered in the win over the Saints last week in Seattle.

The wide receiver suffered the concussion late in the first half. He was playing for the first time since his season debut on November 17th against the Vikings.

“He will not make it back for this game,” Seattle coach Pete Carroll said Friday. “He did not make it through the concussion protocol. I’m super disappointed for Percy. I know how much he wants to play.”

Harvin had one catch and a 58-yard kickoff return in the game against the Vikings in November, but aggravated his surgically repaired hip and did not practice again until the week before the Saints playoff game.
