The talk of the football world is still on what happened Monday night in Seattle. Six days later, the Seahawks have to put the win behind them, and go on the road to take on a Rams team that struggled last week vs the Bears.
The Seahawks, who last opened 3-1 in 2007, played out of their minds on defense vs the Packers, and hope to do so again vs Sam Bradford and the Rams when they kickoff in the STL.
Seattle’s D is giving up a league-low 13.0 points per game and are fifth in the NFL with 10 sacks. Eight of those came against Green Bay, with four by NFC defensive player of the week Chris Clemons and two apiece from rookie Bruce Irvin and Brandon Mebane.
They will look to shut down a Rams team that has been up and down this year, mostly down three weeks into 2012. They scored just six points Sunday in Chicago in a loss to the Bears.
