Why Is This Former Seahawks Player Not In The Hall of Fame??

Ricky “Running” Watters, retired from the NFL after 11 seasons, playing with the 49ers, Eagles and Seahawks. Watters was a five-time Pro Bowler, three-time All-Pro, and his 10,643 rushing yards rank 20th all time.

I loved watching Ricky Watters every sunday. His passion for the game and desire to compete was what made him who he was as a football player. He did have his selfish moments though, when he short armed the pass across the middle against the Buccaneers while playing for the Eagles, then he made the famous comment “For who, for what?”. Attitude put aside for a moment, lets look at his stats.

10,643 rushing yards, 4.1 yards per carry, 4,248 receiving yards, 78 Touchdowns, and a superbowl ring in SB XXIX.

How are those not Hall Of Fame numbers? How is it possible to keep him out of Canton, just based on his attitude.

I would love to hear your feedback and opinion on this topic.
