The second biggest free agent QB on the market is off it.
The Seattle Seahawks have come to terms with free agent quarterback Matt Flynn, this according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Reports say the deal is worth $26 million with $10 million guaranteed for three seasons.
The former Packers QB had spoken with the Dolphins, and many had him penciled in as the team he would go to with former OC Joe Philbin now the new head coach in Miami.
Instead he will be the new starter under coach Pete Caroll, who last season had to sit through Tarvaris Jackson as his starter for 14 games, and Charlie Whitehurst for the other two.
Flynn last year in spot duty for Aaron Rodgers threw for 518 yards with 6 TD’s and two picks. He had a Packers record 480 yards with 6 TD’s and a pick in the regular season finale vs the Lions.
