Seahawks Wrap Up 2011 Season Sunday in Arizona

Winners of five of their last seven, the Seahawks look to even their record at 8-8 to cap off their first non-losing season since 2007. Seattle travels to Arizona this weekend to wrap up 2011 and ring in the new year facing the Cardinals. Kickoff is slated for 1:15 p.m. (PT).

The game will be televised on FOX (channel 13 in Seattle) and broadcast on 710 ESPN Radio and 97.3 FM in Seattle. On FOX, Sam Rosen will serve as the play-by-play man, joined in the booth by Chad Pennington, with Jody Jackson on the sidelines. On 710 ESPN Radio and 97.3 FM is former Seahawks receiver Steve Raible in his 30th year of broadcasting, joined by Hall of Famer Warren Moon, with Jen Mueller handling sideline duties.

It will be the 26th regular season meeting between the two clubs, with

Arizona holding a 13-12 series edge. Arizona has won six of the last 10 meetings, but Seattle is in the midst of a three-game winning streak, sweeping the season series last year, including its first victory in five attempts at University of Phoenix Stadium, and this year’s first meeting on September 25

In that meeting in Seattle, the Seahawks trailed 10-6 at halftime but used a Tarvaris Jackson 11-yard touchdown run in the third quarter and the Seahawks defense did not allow a point in the second-half in the 13-10 win.

Since re-alignment in 2002, Seattle has won 11 of the 19 meetings.
