Seahawks Shut Out of the Pro Bowl

Until a bunch of players pull out due to injury, the Sehawks were shut out Tuesday night of the voting for the Pro Bowl. It’s the second straight year no Seahawks were picked for the squad. Leon Washington was probably the best chance to make the roster, and instead Chicago’s Devin Hester was named the NFC’s kick returner.

Washington leads the league in kickoffs returned for touchdowns (3) and is fourth in the NFC in average return yardage (25.9). Hester leads the NFL in both punt return average (17.1) and punts returned for touchdowns (3).

Once players start pulling out due to injury, the Hawks will have a shot to get a player or two on the roster.
