The Seahawks hit the road for the final time this season as they head to Green Bay this weekend. Kickoff is slated for 10 a.m. (PT) and will be televised on FOX (channel 13 in Seattle) and broadcast on 97.3 FM and on 710 ESPN Radio in Seattle. It will mark the seventh time in the last seven seasons that Seattle has traveled to Wisconsin (two preseason meetings, three regular season and two postseason meetings).
In the regular season, Green Bay holds a 7-5 series edge and has won three of the last four contests. Eight of the 12 meetings have been held in Wisconsin, and Seattle travels to Green Bay in the regular season for the first time since the 2005 season.
The two clubs have met twice in the postseason, 2007′s NFC Divisional Playoff loss in Green Bay on January 12, 2008. Seattle jumped out to a 14-0 lead but could not contain the Packers ground game in heavy snowfall and lost, 42-20.
They also met in the 2003 NFC Wild Card Game on January 4, 2004, won by Green Bay, 33-27 in overtime. Seattle won the coin toss to open overtime but each team punted once. On Seattle’s second possession, Al Harris intercepted Matt Hasselbeck and returned it 52 yards for the game-winner.
