Posted in Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times reports via Twitter that the Seahawks have released FB Justin Griffith and signed OT Kyle Williams to the active roster. The short-term effect, Seattle provides itself some depth along the injury-ravaged offensive line with Williams, who started at tackle late last season and was playing some guard during training camp. The team certainly will need a second fullback down the road, and Griffith — the starting fullback on opening day — could very well be back on the team next week.
