Jim Trotter of SI.com reported Tuesday that Adam “Pacman” Jones has come to terms in principle with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The Blue Bombers play in the Canadian Football League.
According to Trotter’s story, Jones turned down an opportunity to play in the new United Football League.
The Blue Bombers already are eight games into their CFL season with a record of 3-5. Their most recent game was a 37-10 road victory over BC Lions on August 21. Winnipeg’s next game is at Saskatchewan on September 6.
SI.com’s Trotter reported that Jones could join his news teammates as early as Wednesday.
