Just a little note about tonight’s game with only hours until kickoff.
Edgerrin James, Seattle’s new running back acquisition, will be a game-time decision as to whether or not he will play against the Chiefs in Kansas City, according to the Seattle Times’ Danny O’Neil.
James was brought in early this week in hopes of helping to spark a flame in the Seahawks’ rushing attack. Thus far this preseason, the team has averaged 2.9 yards-per-rush and only a paltry 82 yards-per-game.
Starting running back Julius Jones has missed time recently due injury and fan favorite Justin Forsett has done nothing with his opportunity to see extended preseason minutes.
To make room for James, Seattle terminated the contract of short-yardage running back T.J. Duckett.
