Hawks Sign Veteran CB Travis Fisher

Pro Football Weekly reports that the Hawks signed CB Travis Fisher Sunday:

The Seahawks added reinforcements to their thin CB corps, signing veteran Travis Fisher on Sunday.

With LCB Marcus Trufant sidelined with a bad back and only five other cornerbacks on the 80-man roster, the Seahawks called Fisher, who came in for a tryout Sunday morning and was signed shortly afterward.

Besides Trufant and fellow starter Ken Lucas on the corner, Seattle had Josh Wilson, Kelly Jennings, Kevin Hobbs and Marquis Floyd prior to signing Fisher.

Fisher, 29, played five seasons with the division-rival Rams and the past two with the Lions, who released him shortly after the April draft. He had been training in Florida since his release.
