Linebacker Leroy Hill took some time Monday to say he’s sorry for a recent arrest on possession of marijuana.
“I want to apologize to my family, my teammates, the Seahawks organization and fans,” Hill said in a statement released by the team.
“I am embarrassed by the incident Saturday morning and the poor judgment I showed. Please understand my actions were not consistent with the type of person I hope to become.”
No court date has yet to be set for the 26-year-old Hill, who has been with Seattle for the past four seasons.
