4-12 Seahawks Will Have 4th Pick in April’s Draft

Perhaps the best silver-lining of the 34-21 loss to the Cardinals is that by finishing the season at 4-12, the Seahawks now own the fourth overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft.

Consolations like that do not sit well with this year’s Seahawks, however, who wanted to send their coach of 10 years out on a higher note than 2008 has been.

“It was a rollercoaster. It was up and down, it was tough with injuries at the end of the season,” commented Wallace about the entire season. “But we finished pretty strong down the stretch. Now you have to move on and get ready for next season.”

Holmgren ends his 10-year career in Seattle with a franchise record 90 wins.
