The Hawks today made some moves on the O-line, putting starting left guard Mike Wahle on injured reserve due to a shoulder injury.  He is the third offensive line starter to be shut down for the season. Center Chris Spencer went on injured reserve Wednesday and right guard Rob Sims was designated after Week One. The team also signed center-guard Steve McKinney to fill the roster spot vacated by Wahle. McKinney has played 10 seasons in the NFL, four with Indianapolis followed by six with the Houston Texans. He was in the Miami Dolphins’ training camp this past summer.
