Two winless NFC West teams tangle Sunday at Qwest Field as the four-time defending division champion Seahawks host the 49ers in Seattle. San Francisco is coming off a 23-13 home loss to the Arizona Cardinals, while the Seahawks were battered at Buffalo 34-10. The 49ers were sloppy, fumbling the ball away four times and committing five turnovers in all. Quarterback J.T. O’Sullivan was 14-of-20 for 195 yards and a pick, while the main highlight for the ‘Niners was a 41-yard touchdown run by Frank Gore in the first quarter. The Seahawks had two turnovers, surrendered five sacks and allowed a 63-yard punt return for a score against the Bills. Already depleted at receiver, Seattle also lost Nate Burleson for the season to a knee injury. The Seahawks were 7-and-1 at home last season, including a 24-0 win over the 49ers.
