Hawks Pounded in Opener 30-14 by Buffalo

Trent Edwards completed 19-of-30 attempts for 215 yards and a score as the Bills beat the Seahawks 34-10 in their home opener at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Roscoe Parrish had a 63-yard punt return for a score. Brian Moorman threw one pass, a 19-yard touchdown to Ryan Denny on a fake field goal in the third quarter.

Robert Royal added a 30-yard touchdown reception for Buffalo, which will head to Jacksonville next week. Marshawn Lynch added one score on the ground and ran the ball 18 times for 76 yards. Matt Hasselbeck was 17-for-41 passing for 190 yards, a score and an interception in the loss. He found Nate Burleson five times for 60 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown strike. Julius Jones had 13 rushing attempts for 45 yards.

Up next for Seattle will be its home opener against the NFC West-rival San Francisco 49ers. The Hawks first home game of the regular season is next Sunday. They will be hosting the San Francisco 49ers. Kickoff is 1:05 p.m. You can watch the game on FOX.
