Hawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu today entered a plea of not guilty in his DUI case.  Jon Fox, the MLB’s attorney, put the plea in for him, and it allows the case to basically remain status quo while Tatupu’s options remain open.  Fox said in the Tacoma Tribune that he hopes the case will have a “positive resolution.”  The case was set to be heard on August 4th, but it was moved up to July 7th at the request of Fox since Tatupu will be with his teammates in training camp on August 4th.

The linebacker was arrested and charged back on May 10th when he registed a 0.155 and a 0.158 during a breathalyzer test after being pulled over.  The entire hearing and event took all of about five minutes this morning.
