Former Defensive Coordinator Tom Catlin Dies

Former Seahawks Defensive Coordinator Tom Catlin has died.  The “Seattle Post-Intelligencer” reports Catlin coached for the Seahawks from 1983 to 1995 .  In his biography, former Seahawks linebacker Brian Bosworth called Catlin “the most serious man on the planet”.  “P-I” reporter Clare Farnsworth confirmed Catlin “had a stern exterior”, but added once you got to know him, he was engaging and even funny.  Coach Tom Catlin died Saturday in Seattle from complications from a recent surgery at age 76.
