Coach Holmgren Misses Practice for “Medical Procedure”
Posted by Matt Loede on June 9th, 2008 in News

Coach Mike Holmgren, who will turn 60 Sunday, missed Hawks practice today with what the team called a minor medical procedure. The coach is expected to be back with the team tomorrow during drills. “I don’t think we’re any different. We always practice at a high tempo because that’s the way he teaches it,” said Pro Bowl cornerback Marcus Trufant “You don’t go out there thinking, ‘OK, coach isn’t here. So we can ease up a little bit.’ We’re just used to doing it a certain way.”
