Hawks To Start Rookie Tight End

It appears the Seahawks will start rookie tight end John Carlson this season.  According to the  “Seattle Post-Intelligencer”, in Coach Mike Holmgren’s seven years coaching Green Bay and nine years in Seattle he has never started a rookie tight end.  The Seahawks traded up 17 spots to pick up Carlson from Notre Dame in the second round of the draft.
