
The Seahawks will be without the services of wide receiver D.J. Hackett next year after he agreed to a new contract with Carolina. The Seattle “Post-Intelligencer” reports it’s a two-year, $3.5-million deal with the Panthers. Seahawks receivers Ben Obomanu, Courtney Taylor and Logan Payne are about the same size as Hackett and expected to compete for his spot in the Seahawks offense.
