Lazor Named Hawks’ Quarterbacks Coach
Posted by Stephen Rhodes on February 9th, 2008 filed in NewsThe Seattle Seahawks finally found a replacement for Jim Zorn, their ex-quarterbacks coach; according to reports with both the Washington Post and Washington Times on Saturday, Bill Lazor, quarterbacks coach for the Washington Redskins, will take the same position with the Seahawks. Assuming Lazor takes the job - which could be announced as soon as today - he would replace Zorn, who took the offensive coordinator position with the Redskins.
Lazor played at Cornell until 1993, then spent 7 seasons with the school as an assistant; he has been an offensive quality control coach with the Atlanta Falcons and an offensive assistant with the Redskins before being promoted to quarterbacks coach in 2006.
