Source: Holmgren to Not Be Back after the 08 Season

Jay Glazer of Fox is reporting that Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren will not be getting a contract extension, and that 2008 will be his last season as head coach of the team. Holmgren may not be back even for 08, as there is still speculation that he will leave the Seahawks, opening the door for Jim Mora Jr., who turned down the Redskins from being further involved with their head coaching saga. Holmgren seemed passive about coming back in 08 after the loss to the Packers, and it remains to be seen if just some time away for a little R&R will re-focus him to return.
