Seahawks Host Punchless Ravens
Posted by Matt Loede on December 22nd, 2007 filed in NewsHaving already clinched the NFC West title, the Seahawks will be looking to improve their postseason seeding this Sunday when they host the hapless Ravens at Qwest Field. After starting the season 4-and-2, the Ravens have dropped eight straight. Baltimore was stunned 22-16 in overtime last week by the then-winless Miami Dolphins. The loss dropped the Ravens to 1-and-6 on the road. The Seahawks had won five in-a-row before falling 13-10 to the Carolina Panthers last Sunday. They managed just 44 yards on the ground in the setback. Seattle has won six of its seven home games this season. It was a shootout the last time these two teams met back in 2003, with the Ravens winning 44-41 in Seattle.
