NFC West Champion Seahawks Take on Panthers

Kickoff is slated for 10 a.m. (PT) and the game will be televised on FOX (channel 13 in Seattle). It will be Seattle’s first trip to Carolina since the 2000 season.
Last week, Seattle captured its sixth division title in franchise history, fifth under Mike Holmgren and fourth-straight NFC West crown with a 42-21 victory over Arizona. Seattle’s five-game winning streak is the longest since its 11-game streak during the 2005 season.
Since Carolina entered the league in 1995, the two clubs have met only twice during the regular season. The Panthers took the first matchup, 26-3, on October 8, 2000 and Seattle won at Qwest Field, 23-17, on Halloween day in 2004.
