Three starters out vs. 49ers Monday

Although the Seattle Seahawks are still favored at home today against the San Francisco 49ers, they will be without the services of three important components of their team: running back Shaun Alexander, wide receiver Deion Branch and linebacker Leroy Hill. Alexander injured his knee and ankle against Cleveland last week. RB Maurice Morris will replace Alexander.
Branch, Seattle’s 2nd leading receiver, sprained his right foot on October 7 against Seattle; his replacement will probably be Bobby Engram. Hill has been inactive with a problematic hamstring injury; his likely replacement will be Kevin Bentley.
