The Seahawks return to NFC West play vs. the San Francisco 49ers this week on ESPNs Monday Night Football at Qwest Field. The game will be televised on ESPN (channel 31 on Comcast) and CW11 (channel 11 in Seattle) with kickoff slated for 5:30 p.m.

This weeks game versus the 49ers will mark the 18th time the two clubs have squared off in the regular season with Seattle holding a 9-8 series edge. The Seahawks have won seven of the last nine but dropped both contests last season.

Seattle defeated San Francisco earlier this season, 23-3, on September 30 at Monster Park, and limited the 49ers to just nine first downs and 184 yards of offense. Deion Branch set a career-high with 130 yards on seven catches and the Seahawks defense recorded 6.0 sacks, including one by Rocky Bernard that sidelined Alex Smith in the first quarter.
