The  Seahawks have a couple of injuries that will benefit from their upcoming bye week with no game.  Head coach Mike Holmgren said Monday that tight end Marcus Pollard will have surgery on his injured right knee likely be out until the November 12th game against San Francisco.  Defensive end Darryl Tapp suffered a broken bone in his hand during Sunday’s win over Saint Louis and wore a large cast on it but still played in the second half.  He may choose to have surgery but, even if he does, is not expected to miss any games due to the injury.  The Seahawks have a bye this week with no game scheduled and Holmgren has given his players the whole week off.
