Mack StrongLongtime Seattle Seahawks fullback Mack Strong has suffered a neck injury that will end his career.  Team head coach Mike Holmgren told the Associated Press that Strong woke up on Sunday feeling a tingling sensation in his hands.  Holmgren also added that after getting hit hard twice early in the Seahawks’ loss to the Steelers, Strong felt his hand and arm go numb.

An examination showed that Strong experienced a pinched nerve in his neck.  It doesn’t require surgery, but Strong told AP at Seahawks headquarters that it will end his career.  Strong had been with the Seahawks his entire 15-year career and was a 2-time Pro Bowl selection.
