Injuries Add Hurt to Loss to Steelers

The ‘Hawks played most of Sunday without two key starters due to injuries. Leading receiver Deion Branch and Pro Bowl fullback Mack Strong were both out of the game by halftime. Branch sprained his right foot in the second quarter. Strong has a pinched nerve in his lower neck. Linebacker Leroy Hill also spent some time out of the game in the second half due to cramps. The extent of the injuries to Branch and Strong will not be known until test are preformed today.
