Seahawks Pay Price for Win on Sunday

The Seahawks dominated the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, but it came at a price. The “Seattle Post-Intelligencer” reports special teams standout Alvin Pearman tore a ligament in his left knee and will be out for the season. Backup offensive lineman Ray Willis will miss six weeks for a sprained knee and rookie cornerback Josh Wilson will be out one or two weeks with a sprained ankle. Pearman, who will go into surgery when the trauma in the knee subsides, will be the most difficult to replace. Marquis Weeks is a possibility to fill the position. Weeks was released on the final roster cut. That just happened to be the same day Pearman was acquired.
