Seahawks Soar Past Niners 23-3

Matt Hasselbeck went 23-for-31 for 281 yards with two touchdowns and one interception as the Seahawks soared past the 49ers, 23-3, at Monster Park.  Deion Branch had seven catches for 130 yards, while Bobby Engram added 53 yards receiving and a score for Seattle, which takes control of the NFC West at 3-and-1.  Shaun Alexander had 25 carries for 78 yards in the victory.  Frank Gore had 16 carries for 79 yards, and added three catches for 42 yards.  Trent Dilfer came in for the injured Alex Smith and went 12-for-33 for 128 yards with two picks for the Niners, who fell to 2-and-2 with their second straight loss.  Smith left after being hit on the third play from scrimmage.  The Seahawks play it Pittsburgh this Sunday.
