Hawks To Face Former Teammate Jackson Sunday
Posted by Matt Loede on September 27th, 2007 filed in NewsThe Seahawks will play against a familiar face on Sunday. Seahawks general manager
Tim Ruskell traded Darrell Jackson to San Francisco in April. Jackson held a number of team records from his seven years in a Seahawks uniform, but also missed a lot of practices and suffered from injuries. He also developed a reputation for dropping passes. If you ask Jackson, he holds no animosity towards to ‘Hawks’ players or coaching staff but his dislike of GM Tim Ruskell was no secret, even before the trade. Currently he still suffers from injuries but is the 49ers’ leading receiver with 11 catches for 166 yards. The Hawks next game is on the road Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. with the game on FOX.
