A surprising sprained wrist is not going to keep Hawks RB Shaun Alexander off the fieldAlexander on Sunday in Arizona, as he is going to play with a soft padded cast over his left wrist, about halfway up his arm.  It came to a shock as many to hear about Alexander’s injury, but coach Mike Holmgren said that he thinks his franchise back will be just fine.  “We’re being real careful with that,” Holmgren said, “He feels really good about playing with that thing. He feels better. And so they are going to rig something up during the game to allow him to play.”  The injury took place during the opening 20-6 Hawks win vs Tampa Bay Sunday.  Last week vs the Bucs, Alexander seemed back to form, as he ran for 105 yards on 27 carries with a score in the win.
