Seahawks Give Backup QB Wallace New Deal

The Seahawks signed backup quarterback Seneca Wallace to a new four-year contract on Tuesday. The new pact will keep Wallace with the team through the 2010 season. The 27-year-old Wallace appeared in eight games last season, including four starts. In those four starts, the Seahawks were 2-and-2. The Iowa State product has played in 15 NFL games over his four-year career and has thrown for 1,100 yards with nine touchdowns and eight interceptions.
